Hi my name is John, I am a 23 year military veteran and have been training dogs for for over 40 years.
I started off repairing military police dog rope leads way back in the mid 1970's. I used to repair stitching and replace the leather joint coverings.
I had the pleasure of working with both the RAF, and ARMY police dogs for over 20 years. On leaving the military I assisted Civilian police dogs and handlers with training and displays.
I became a demonstration advisor and instructor. I was a specialist in guiding young or new handlers and reteam handlers through any problems they were experiencing with their dogs. Advising at which end of the lead the real problem was actually at!
The traffic handle is a great tool to use for close in handling work. When you need to keep your dog in close due to moving near traffic, etc.
Many handlers carry a traffic handle clipped to their uniforms. They are also used as kennel tags when moving dogs around kennels during cleaning etc.
They are one of my very best sellers for good reason.
